I’m Lee, founder of Brood of Brigid. Named after the Celtic goddess of the hearth, creativity, domesticity and healing (amongst other things), Brigid is the perfect patron for our blog about family, lifestyle and wellbeing.
As a writer, I am always looking for the best way to tell a story and hone my craft. Authoring content I feel passionate about is not only a hobby, but can hopefully add to a creative community and connect with likeminded souls.
Being a mum of two, you will usually catch me somewhere between confidence and self-doubt. Forgiveness and guilt. Both overwhelmed and overjoyed. Trying to figure out the best way to raise my kids whilst staying true to my values and nurturing myself amidst the mass of stuff life throws at you.
I seek solace in occasional self-care. I am constantly lighting candles and incense. I love history. Especially reading about history. Especially in the bath. My day always begins with coffee. My ideal day includes wandering around an old castle (with a stop off for cake). I am partial to daydreaming. Often for too long…
